The T155 Expansion Project was established by Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) to increase their existing Pilbara iron ore exports to 155MTPA. The project included the expansion of the existing Port Stockyard and Shiploading Facility at Anderson Point, Port Hedland.

Project Overview

Fortescue Metals Group's T155 Iron Ore Expansion included the construction of port export infrastructure to triple annual exports from 45MTPA to 155MTPA. The Port Expansion included the construction of:

  • 2 train unloaders
  • New stockyard machines including a 1 stacker and 2 reclaimers
  • 2 new berth stations
  • 2 shiploaders
  • Conveyor networks linking the new infrastructure

Scope of Work

Goodline were contracted by FMG to complete the supply and installation of the EPCM office facilities for the on-site project management consultant Worley Parsons. The works included the establishment of two 100 person office spaces and associated facilities at the Anderson Point Port and train unloader sites. Goodline's scope included:

  • Design, engineering and installation of foundations
  • Procurement, supply, installation and complexing of buildings including:
    • 2 x 100 person EPCM complexes
    • Ablution blocks
    • Contractors' offices
    • First aid buildings
    • Security gate house buildings
  • Office fit-out
  • Trenching and backfilling
  • Hydraulic services and connections to buildings
  • Sewerage treatment system installation
  • Electrical and communication services and connections to buildings
  • Concrete footpaths
  • Shade awnings
  • Car parking areas
  • Fuel tanks and refuelling stations
  • Lighting
